Many people contact Gentle Carousel and ask to come over for a visit.

Unlike a program where people go to horses to ride, Gentle Carousel's Reading Is Magic takes horses inside to people . Many of the children we visit have never touched a horse before.

Because we work inside preschools, schools and at risk youth programs most of our visits are private.

Our horses do take part in special events during the year that are open to the public including our summer reading programs.

Reading Is Magic talking to parents about reading at the Early Steps Fall Festival.

Gentle Carousel's Reading Is Magic at Millhopper Branch Library on 2/22/11

Because we work inside hospitals, hospice programs, schools, assisted living programs and with abused and special needs children, most Gentle Carousel Miniature Therapy Horse visits are private.

   Our horses do attend special events during the year that are open to the public.
